Wills & Estates

Our Approach

We encourage all of our clients to draw up a Will, Personal Directive as well as the Power of Attorney.

A will is a legal declaration by which a person, names one or more persons to manage his/her estate and provides for the transfer of his/her property at death. In order to safeguard your loved ones, every person should have a Will that deals with disposition of assets upon your demise.  You should have the opportunity of determining who ultimately receives what you have when your die.

Personal Directives are legal documents which allow you to name a decision maker and/or provide written instructions to be followed when, due to illness or injury, you no longer have the capacity to make decisions such as where you will live or the medical treatment you will receive.

A Power of Attorney or Living Will is a legal document that gives someone else the right to act on your behalf.
